Wellness & Psychological Services, a service within Student Life, is looking to fill three, full-time, Continuing Professional Resource Faculty counselling positions: two for the City Centre Campus and one for Alberta College Campus. The Counsellors/Psychologists are responsible for the following tasks: provide professional assessment and counselling services to students who are seeking solutions to personal, career and educational concerns; offer urgent intervention or treatment level service to students with diagnosed psychological conditions; create and facilitate preventative mental health and well-being programming; participate in applied research; liaise with case management administrators, faculty and staff as needed; and participate in regular department meetings.

Candidates must be registered with the College of Alberta Psychologists. Provisionally Registered Psychologists may also be considered. Knowledge of and experience with working in a post-secondary environment and familiarity with diverse populations and younger adults' experiences in transitioning into university are highly desirable. Demonstrated effectiveness in professionalism; working constructively in support of leadership within a team; exceptional communication skills including social media and web-based resource creation and interaction; comfort with change and demonstrated flexibility; and initiative are also essential.

This position is included under the Faculty Association collective agreement.
