MacEwan University has implemented a PeopleSoft enterprise resource planning (ERP) system. We are looking for an experienced and self-motivated individual to support our PeopleSoft Campus Solutions application. The Senior Business System Analyst provides analysis, direction, quality control and planning related to process execution and performance of the University’s ERP system and other sub systems in the area of Academic Advisement, Admissions, and Student Financials/Records. The role also ensures that the correct business functionality, requirements, and industry standards are addressed within computer and business applications. The Senior Business Analyst works in partnership with the business area management, Information and Technology Services, and client stakeholders in the analysis and development of enhancements to the University’s Business Process Management needs.

Major responsibilities include project based and on-demand business requirements analysis, coordinating future system projects, and identifying, prioritizing and developing action plans and responses to operational, maintenance and enhancement activities.

The successful candidate will have a post-secondary degree or diploma related to Information combined with business analysis experience and minimum 5 years of working experience with PeopleSoft Software. Previous experience in Campus Solutions within a post-secondary or public institution is preferred.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are critical. You need to demonstrate the ability to conduct effective meetings and workshops coupled with excellent problem solving, analytical, and organizational skills.

Note: In your application, identify project life cycle experience as well as the PeopleSoft modules you have had experience with. Experience with integration between PeopleSoft suites of products is also desirable.
