The Employee Services Assistant is responsible for providing employees with a positive first impression of the university, as well as providing them excellent customer service. The high level of service provided will help create an exceptional applicant and employee experience that will drive employee retention. Primary responsibilities are in the areas of customer service, data and document management, filing and administrative support.
We are looking for a team member with outstanding customer service and communication skills. You will have strong computer skills and be well organized with great attention to detail. You will have the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment and be able to adapt and be flexible to changes.
The successful candidate will have a Diploma/Certificate in office administration or payroll; along with 1 to 3 years of related administrative experience preferably in a post-secondary setting or other large unionized organization. Equivalencies will be considered.
Prior experience using HRIS systems with PeopleSoft experience would be preferred.
