Psychology Lab Administrator
Faculty of Arts and Science

The Faculty of Arts and Science at City Centre Campus is seeking a part-time psychology lab administrator. This is a 0.3 part time continuing position (10.5 hours per week) that is part of a 0.5 job share. The candidate will be responsible for the purchase, maintenance, and security of all lab supplies, equipment and psychological assessment instruments. The lab administrator will assist the Chair in ensuring effective overall utilization of lab resources, and in identifying new procedures and materials that will enhance the operation of the lab. As this is a shared position, there will be an expectation that the successful candidate will familiarize themselves with the research participation program for introductory psychology students so they can provide backup coverage for their job share partner when necessary.

Applicants must possess a university degree in psychology or a related discipline, ideally with courses in research methods and in psychological assessment. Post-secondary experience teaching classes or labs or in serving as a lab or research coordinator or technician would be an asset. Psychological research experience and experience with psychological assessment techniques and instruments would also be an asset.

This position is included under the MacEwan Staff Association Collective Agreement.
