MacEwan International has a new and exciting Education Abroad Program Support position, and we are looking for an enthusiastic, detail-orientated, and internationally experienced individual with a passion to work in the Education Abroad program.

Reporting to the Acting Manager, Education Abroad, the incumbent will provide support for education abroad programs; promote and provide education abroad information events; maintain and prepare marketing materials; recruit potential applicants; carry out research related to education abroad activities; and provide assistance to incoming education abroad students, along with other administrative and project support as required.

The ideal candidate must have excellent written and public speaking skills, well-developed organizational, time management, and problem solving skills, strong intercultural awareness, along with the ability to demonstrate initiative.

Candidates must have a minimum of a post-secondary degree along with experience participating in an education abroad program (ex. exchange, internship, or short-term international program). The successful candidate must have intermediate Microsoft computer skills; experience with social media platforms; and the ability to use the Internet. Fluency in a language other than English is an asset.

Preference will be given to candidates who have participated in a MacEwan University education abroad program.

This position will commence in March 2014 and end in January 2015.

This position is included under the MacEwan Staff Association Collective Agreement.
