Facilities Maintenance Worker II

The Facilities Division is currently recruiting for two positions of Facilities Maintenance Worker II. We are looking for highly motivated and flexible individuals to assist in the operation, maintenance and repair of various building components and Campus event support. This includes operation of building mechanical HVAC, lighting and related systems along with Campus setups for day to day operation. Assisting other Facilities Maintenance Trades staff as required.
Candidates should have good mechanical and practical aptitude, good computer skills, possess a Building Operator “A” or 4th Level Power Engineering certificate, and a minimum of three years of similar experience. Equivalencies may be considered. The successful candidate must have experience in building automated systems in the following areas: lighting, HVAC, Key Management, safe usage of chemicals (WHMIS), and knowledge of tools, materials, methods and practices used in this field including safety. Good public relations and written/verbal communication skills, a valid driver’s license and good computer skills are required.
