Opportunity
MacEwan University (City Centre Campus) requires a supervisor to lead and develop the Welcome Centre, in the heart of MacEwan University. This will be the first point of contact and the information point for individuals entering the university, therefore, the successful candidate will be responsible to ensure a positive, welcoming and informative experience.

The successful candidate will report to the coordinator, Student Services and will have one staff and occasional students as direct reports. Supporting a culture of exceptional customer service with a focus on enhancing a student’s overall educational experience will be a priority in this role.

Skills
The ideal candidate must be a self-starter with a high degree of initiative and have the ability to shape and develop the Welcome Centre. The incumbent must exhibit excellent communication, customer service and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications
The successful candidate will have a minimum of a diploma in office administration, management studies or equivalent and a minimum of two (2) years post-secondary experience is preferred. Experiences with Microsoft applications, training and a strong technology background are all required. Equivalencies will be considered.
