Information Technology Technician I
Information Technology Service Support and Operations

Opportunity
The Information Technology Services Support and Operations team is looking for two (2) information technology technicians for supporting events within the University. This role will support technology at all MacEwan events including the setup, operation, tear down and maintenance of all equipment. Administrative duties will include attending the weekly planning meetings hosted by the Conference and Special Events department as well as updating the Event calendar with all equipment requests for upcoming events.

Qualifications
The successful candidate will have a minimum of a post-secondary technical diploma and a minimum of two (2) years’ experience in audio visual setups/support or related experience. Experience with computer hardware and software technology is required. Equivalencies will be considered.

Position Requirements
• This position requires travel to other campuses
• A valid driver’s license
• Ability to lift equipment manually up to 20 lbs.
• Overtime and additional work hours may be required

This position is included under the MacEwan Staff Association collective agreement.
