Building 7 Welcome Centre Support
MacEwan University’s Welcome Centre, located at City Centre Campus, has an exciting opportunity for an energetic, customer service oriented individual to support the high traffic support center.
The Welcome Center is the first point of contact at the university, and it is a key representative of the university. In this position, the incumbent will report to the Welcome Centre Building 7 Supervisor and will be responsible for greeting prospective students, guests and visitors to the university and connecting them with appropriate support services.
The successful candidate will have above average administrative services/support and interpersonal skills and possess the ability to manage priorities with frequent interruptions.
Applicants must have a minimum of a related one year post-secondary certificate, along with a minimum of one year related work experience. Equivalencies will be considered. Preference will be given to candidates with post-secondary, advanced Microsoft Office applications, and reception experience.
This is a part time term position from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. This position will end on June 30, 2014, with a possibility of an extension.
This position is included under the MacEwan Staff Association Collective Agreement.
