The Faculty of Health and Community Studies is seeking a term University Advisor for the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) and Psychiatric Nursing Programs. This position is a key resource that provides logistical support and coordination for the operation of the academic programs.
Responsibilities include course and examination scheduling, assisting with managing records and data for reports, drafting reports and surveys, assisting with the submission of reports to accreditation and regulatory bodies, assist with the organization of course outlines and the master course syllabi, supporting faculty in organizing course materials, administrative processes, and advising program students.
This is a 14 month term position.
Candidates must have post-secondary degree and a minimum of 2 years advising or customer services field. Strong Microsoft skills are required. The successful candidate will have strong organizational and time management skills, be able to prioritize, and manage tasks in an organized and efficient way. Experience working with scheduling processes, Peoplesoft or in a post-secondary setting, would be an asset.
This position is included under the MacEwan Staff Association collective agreement.
