Digital Coordinator – Visual and Graphics Resource

The Office of Communications and Marketing at MacEwan University, located at City Centre Campus, has an opportunity for a digital coordinator, specializing in visual and graphic resources to join its dynamic team of marketing and communications professionals.
The incumbent will be responsible for supporting marketing and communications activities by creating resources (photographs, videos etc.) to enhance the university’s website, social media platforms, online advertising campaigns and other recruitment strategies. The successful candidate will analyze, interpret and respond to stakeholders’ requests to document events on campus through photography and videography.
The ideal candidate is a proficient photographer and videographer, with good writing, editing and organizational skills, the ability to work independently and manage time well in order to meet deadlines. The successful candidate will show a commitment to adapting to the trends in visual communications technology. We are seeking a flexible team player with strong planning, analytical and problem-solving skills.
The successful candidate should have a minimum of a diploma in a related field and a minimum of two (2) years’ experience in marketing, video, graphics or a related field, with a concentration on digital platforms. Equivalencies will be considered. Experience in a post-secondary environment is an asset.
This position is included under the MacEwan Staff & Association Collective Agreement.
