Domestic Admissions Specialist

The Office of the University Registrar, located at City Centre Campus, has opportunities for two full-time continuing Domestic Admission Specialists. In this position, the incumbent will be responsible for determining admission to university programs, evaluating transcripts, maintaining accurate student records, and providing information to the public. This position is part of a student-oriented team committed to service excellence.
The successful candidate will possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrated organizational, time management, and critical thinking skills, above average attention to detail, and computer literacy including the use of student information and database systems. Experience with PeopleSoft – Campus Solutions is preferred. The ideal candidate will be able to handle a high volume of work in a fast paced environment, and enjoy working with the public.
The successful candidates must have a minimum of a two year post-secondary diploma along with a minimum of one year of customer service experience, preferably in a post-secondary setting. Equivalencies will be considered.
This position is included under the MacEwan Staff Association Collective Agreement.
