Executive Assistant
Office of Fund Development

The Office of Fund Development has an opportunity for an Executive Assistant. Located at the Alberta College Campus, the Executive Assistant is the first point of contact between the Fund Development department, internal as well as external audiences.

In this position, you will manage the Executive Director’s calendar and appointments; arrange and attend meetings to record and prepare minutes of meetings and reports; support and ensure appropriate meeting follow-up; coordinate logistics; coordinate travel and meeting requirements; oversee the administration of the departmental budget; prepare and process requisitions, expense claims, and reconcile credit card statements; and respond to phone, email, and in person enquiries.

Your strong written and interpersonal communication skills will position you for success in this position, in addition to having the ability to create and maintain effective work flow. This position requires the successful candidate to be diplomatic, professional, have exceptional attention to detail, excellent organizational and time management skills to prioritize a busy workload.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of a related post-secondary diploma, along with a minimum of five (5) years of progressive administrative experience, in a corporate setting, a post-secondary or public sector setting Progressive experience in records management and knowledge of FOIP and CRA regulations are desirable. Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite is required while experience with PeopleSoft, Site Studio would be preferred with the willingness and aptitude to learn new technologies.
