The Faculty of Health and Community Studies is currently seeking an enthusiastic and committed individual to provide administrative support to the program chairs, faculty, staff and students of the Acupuncture and Massage Therapy programs. Major responsibilities include: book clients into the acupuncture and massage teaching clinics; process and prepare documents and program correspondence; file and records management; arrange meetings; take meeting minutes; prepare expense reports, ongoing inventory and ordering office supplies and equipment; liaise with other university departments as necessary; assist new faculty by orientating them to office procedures; as well as other general office duties including back-up for other support staff as assigned.

The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal, communication, customer service and organizational skills. The ability to multi-task, set priorities, adapt to change, and be self-directed are essential. Advanced Microsoft Office and email skills are required.

Candidates must have a post-secondary certificate (1 year) and a minimum of one (1) year related work experience. Equivalencies may be considered. Experience with PeopleSoft enterprise system, working in a post-secondary or clinic environment are assets.
