The Department of Accounting and Finance in the School of Business invites applications for two full-time probationary appointments at the rank of Assistant/Associate Professor, commencing January 2016, subject to final budgetary approval.
MacEwan University, School of Business fosters close relationships with employer and professional groups to provide opportunities for faculty and student engagement, and direct feedback on curriculum. MacEwan University business graduates leave work-ready, going on to successful employment opportunities, industry-specific designations and graduate school. Candidates should have a primary commitment to undergraduate teaching and an ongoing commitment to research. Candidates should expect a minimum teaching load of six courses per academic year with an expectation of developing and achieving a record of scholarly activity.
Preferred candidates will hold a Ph.D and/or Masters in Accounting. A CPA (CPA-CMA, CPA-CGA, CPA-CA) or CFA designation is also desired and may be a condition of employment during a candidates probation period.
