Accounting and Strategic Measurement Diploma & Bachelor of Applied Business Administration – Accounting, School of Business
The School of Business at MacEwan University is seeking two (2) full time Instructors for its Accounting diploma and Accounting applied degree programs.
Located in Edmonton, Alberta, MacEwan University is a comprehensive undergraduate university with over 11,000 full time students spread over four campuses. The School of Business has experienced a tremendous amount of growth and program expansion in the past decade, now boasting a full time student population of over 3000.

The Accounting and Strategic Measurement Diploma and the Bachelor of Applied Administration in Accounting are two professional based programs that service a unique sector of our business community. Both credentials meet the newly established CPA education requirements and within the programs offer a wide variety of accounting and business courses that support the Schools professional skills mandate. After completion of the diploma, students can either block transfer to the Bachelor of Commerce program or continue on to complete the Bachelor of Applied Business Administration – Accounting degree.
Candidates must hold a minimum of a Master’s degree and a professional accounting designation (CGA, CMA, CA). MacEwan University is committed to excellence in teaching, scholarship and service and the successful candidates will have demonstrated a commitment to all three. Preference will be given to those candidates who have experience in audit, financial accounting and technical expertise in accounting software.
The anticipated starting date is August 2014.
