The Office of the University Registrar, located at City Centre Campus, has an opportunity for a full-time continuing phone /data entry assistant. This position is part of a student-oriented team in Admissions and Enrolment committed to service excellence. The phone /data entry assistant will be responsible for updating the student information system with information critical to the application process. As well as answering the admissions inquiry line. The incumbent will be part of a phone/data entry team within the admissions unit.

The ideal candidate must possess excellent oral and written communication and time management skills; above average attention to detail; ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment; and have good computer skills including the use of student information and database systems and email. The candidate must encompass a strong student/customer service focus with sensitivity to race, ethnicity, religion and culture.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of a post-secondary diploma and a minimum of one (1) years’ customer service experience, preferably in a post-secondary setting. Experience in the area of post-secondary admission or registrarial services and/or with PeopleSoft – Campus Solutions is considered an asset.
