Transfer & Enrolment Specialist

The Office of the University Registrar, located at the City Centre Campus, has exciting opportunities for two (2) full-time continuing transfer & enrolment specialists. The positions are a part of a student-oriented team committed to service excellence in the area of transfer and articulation. The transfer & enrolment specialist is primarily responsible for evaluating students’ academic history to determine eligibility for transfer credit, supporting the transfer articulation process, advising students and other members of the university community on transfer credit policy and procedures, and accurate maintenance of student records and files.
The ideal candidate must have a minimum of a two-year post-secondary diploma with a minimum of one (1) years’ customer service experience, preferably in a post-secondary institution in the areas of admission, transfer and/or enrolment. Experience with PeopleSoft – Campus Solutions and Microsoft Access are assets.
The successful candidates will possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written; demonstrated organizational and critical thinking skills; above average attention to detail; computer literacy and skills including student information and database systems; and a knowledge of post-secondary education systems in Alberta and Canada.
This position is included under the MacEwan Staff Association Collective Agreement.
