Assistant Professor, Psychology

The Department of Psychology at Grant MacEwan University invites applications for a continuing faculty member at the Assistant Professor level commencing July 1, 2013. We are seeking applicants with a specialization in developmental and/or clinical psychology. The ability to teach in other areas of Psychology would be an asset. The successful candidate must have a PhD (or solid indication of imminent completion). Applicants must have a commitment to undergraduate education and must demonstrate excellence or clear promise of excellence in teaching at the undergraduate level. Candidates must demonstrate a record of, or potential for, research productivity. A commitment to supervision of Honours student theses and independent study projects is expected.
Applicants should submit curriculum vitae, recent teaching evaluations, a statement of teaching interests and experience, a statement of research interests, samples of research productivity, and graduate transcripts. Applicants should arrange for three letters of reference to be submitted under separate cover.
