The Office of the University Registrar, located at City Centre Campus, has an exciting opportunity for a consultant, Admissions and Enrolment. This full-time one-year term position is part of a student-oriented team committed to service excellence in the area of Canadian admissions and enrolment.

The consultant functions as a team lead and is primarily responsible to process and monitor admission application and transcript load activities through ApplyAlberta; process visiting student admissions; collaborate on the development of training resources for university staff on admissions policies and procedures; and in cooperation with the manager plan and implement a comprehensive training program for staff.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; demonstrate organizational and critical thinking skills; have above average attention to detail; able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment; has computer literacy skill and able to work with student information and database systems; and has knowledge of post-secondary education systems in Alberta and Canada.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of a post-secondary diploma and a minimum of two (2) years’ experience working in the Registrar’s Office in a post-secondary institution. Preference will be given to candidates with knowledge of student information system, admission and enrolment activities. Experience with PeopleSoft – Campus Solutions and ApplyAlberta are assets. Equivalencies will be considered.

This position is included under MacEwan Staff Association collective agreement.
