The Office of the University Registrar (OUR) is seeking a 12 month term Information and Systems Scheduler to be a part of its dynamic team.

The incumbent will be responsible for course, exam and room assignment scheduling to facilitate the most efficient utilization of space on campus. Other duties include input, activation and maintenance of course data files; data entry and maintenance of curriculum, course catalog and scheduling data; producing room use, room audit and classroom schedules and, coordination with the team in the OUR to ensure accurate records of course scheduling.

The ideal candidate would have some knowledge of curriculum, post-secondary culture, software and facilities. Good communication, strong analytical and organizational skills, and the ability to problem solve and prioritize multiple tasks are also required.

A post-secondary Certificate in Computers or Management Studies and a minimum of two years data entry related experience. Prior academic scheduling/post-secondary is considered an asset.

Position requirements
Standard hours are 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., however at the start of the term, some adjustment to working schedule may be required based upon operational requirements

This position is included under the MacEwan Staff Association collective agreement.
