Course Production Technician
Instructional Media and Design
The Instructional Media and Design unit is seeking a highly skilled Course Production Technician to support online conversion activities for MacEwan University. This position requires thorough knowledge and current skills pertaining to a variety of operating systems, Web browsers, and Internet service providers, and the ability to remain current with rapidly changing technology. Experience with Blackboard CE8 and/or Blackboard Learn 9.1 is preferred.
Candidates must have a post-secondary diploma in computer science, digital design, or a related field and have two years’ experience developing online course materials. Experience using programs such as DreamWeaver, Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat, and Microsoft Office is required. Experience using Blackboard, Illustrator, and Flash is desirable. The successful candidate will possess above-average verbal and written communication skills, excellent organizational skills, and a proven ability to work independently and in a team environment.
This position is included under MacEwan Staff Association Collective Agreement.
