Do you have a desire to dig into the details of business processes? MacEwan University is seeking a Business Process Analyst to assist with the execution of process management and improvement. Reporting to the Manager, Process Management Services, this role’s primary responsibilities are process mapping and process assessment projects for a variety of departments and stakeholders. Duties include auditing and analyzing processes for continuous improvement, discovering, validating, documenting, and communicating the University’s business process knowledge.
This role requires a firm understanding of process mapping, process assessment, process design and performance patterns, and process management. With a high attention to detail, the successful candidate will rely on strong collection, research and analytical skills, the ability to synthesize complex or diverse information, and strong facilitation skills to develop successful working relationships and provide coaching to process owners.
Successful candidates must have business or related degree complemented by four years of process management or business analysis experience. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered. In addition, preference will be given to candidates with process management and/or business analysis related certification or designations. Understanding of post-secondary institutions and related processes and procedures would also be an asset.
