International Phone Receptionist/Data Entry Assistant

The Office of the University Registrar, located at City Centre Campus, has an opportunity for a full-time continuing international phone /data entry assistant. This position is part of a student-oriented team in International Admissions and Enrolment committed to service excellence. The international phone /data entry assistant will be responsible for updating the student information system with all information submitted and/or all decisions made so that applicants may view their current status and information on-line. The incumbent photocopies, files, pulls files, phones applicants and mail-outs and emails to applicants.
The ideal candidate must possess excellent oral and written communication and time management skills; above average attention to detail; ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment; and have good computer skills including the use of student information and database systems and email. The candidate must encompass a strong student/customer service focus with sensitivity to race, ethnicity, religion and culture.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of a post-secondary diploma and a minimum of one (1) years’ customer service experience, preferably in a post-secondary setting. Experience in the area of post-secondary admission or registrarial services and/or with PeopleSoft – Campus Solutions is considered an asset.
This position is included under the MacEwan Staff Association Collective Agreement.
