Instructional Designer
Instructional Media and Design
The Instructional Media and Design department is seeking a highly skilled instructional designer to work with a project team to aid in the conversion and rebuilding of our online course inventory from Blackboard CE8 to Lean 9.1.
Applicants must have a Master's Degree in Education or the equivalent, supplemented by a minimum of two years’ experience in instructional design. Applicants should be skilled in areas such as distributed learning, distance delivery, educational multimedia, and the use of the Internet for delivering educational resources. Individuals with BlackBoard CE8, BlackBoard Learn 9.1 and project management experience will be preferred.
The successful applicant will be self-motivated, have excellent communication skills, work well under minimal supervision, and be willing to stay current with instructional methodologies and related technologies and their applications.
Applicants are expected to provide three references and, if invited for an interview, to discuss examples of representative instructional design projects.
This position is included under MacEwan Staff Association Collective Agreement
