The Early Learning and Childcare Lab School at MacEwan University is currently seeking a motivated, energetic individual for an Early Learning and Childcare Lab School Administrative Assistant position. This position is responsible for providing efficient and timely administrative support to the Director and Educators, as well as general administration support for the childcare centre and lab school.

Applicants must have a certificate or diploma in office administration or equivalent. Child Care Worker 1 or higher certificate would be an asset. A minimum of two to three years experience in office administration preferably in an educational institution and or in a childcare centre. Experience with PeopleSoft and a post-secondary institution would be an asset.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, strong time management skills and the ability to take initiative. Candidates must have strong customer service and interpersonal skills. The successful candidate must also have the ability to work with minimal supervision and work well in a team environment. Must be highly skilled in Microsoft Office suite.
