Opportunity
The Department of Physical Sciences at MacEwan University invites applications for a full-time term (approximately 4 months from August 24, 2015 to December 18, 2015) laboratory technician position. The successful candidate will provide support for undergraduate Physics, and Earth & Planetary Sciences teaching laboratories by planning and conducting laboratory preparation, ordering supplies and services, managing materials, and maintaining equipment.

Skills
Candidates will have strong technical laboratory skills, excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively with faculty, staff, and students.

Qualifications
Preferred candidates will hold a B.Sc. in a field relevant to the physical sciences, or hold a relevant diploma with extensive experience.
