Schola Cantorum Choral Program
This Kodaly-based program offers performance opportunities for all ages and abilities, from the inexperienced to the most seasoned choristers. The Primary Choir (Age 6 - 9) gently launches young singers into the world of shared singing and ear training. The Intermediate Choir (Age 10 - 14) is for those who wish to further develop their choral abilities. Musical development is nurtured through training in vocal production, sight-singing, ear-training, music theory and general musicianship. The Women's Choir and Gay Men's Choir welcome singers 18 years and older who simply love to sing! Placing emphasis on the development of healthy voices, sight-singing and musicianship, these choirs explore treble voice repertoire from the Renaissance to 20th Century.
