Tuba Ensemble
For the past 25 years the TUBAS OF EDMONTON have performed in the foyer prior to Edmonton Symphony Orchestra Christmas concerts. In the spring of 2010, for the first time, they performed a concert with nary a Christmas melody in sight. There are three projects planned for the 2011/2012 season; a concert in late November, the traditional appearance at the Winspear lobby for a Christmas concert and a final concert in mid-May. Rehearsals are from 10 am until noon on Saturdays in October and November and again in the spring starting in late March and running until mid-May.
