Private Guitar Lessons are offered year-round at all levels, for all ages, either at our Alberta College Campus or MacEwan University South Campus. Students can start at any time of the year. Lessons are available on Bass Guitar and Guitar in the following styles
- Classical
- Jazz
- Acoustic
- Electric
Guitar students may also consider enrolling in the Repertoire Classes, Ear Training or Music Theory.
All of our distinguished instructors – many of whom are active as professional performers in the community – have the credentials, experience and ability to provide you with the quality music instruction you want.

Rob Aldridge - Bass Guitar

Tristan Cameron - Guitar
Telephone: Tristan Cameron has been teaching at the Alberta College Conservatory of Music since 2004. Prior to teaching at the Conservatory, Tristan taught at the Turner Guitar Studio and his home studio. His studio welcomes students as young as five, and he enjoys working with students of all ages, levels, and styles. |

Don Ehret - Guitar
Email: Telephone: At Alberta College Conservatory of Music, Don Ehret teaches ‘contemporary’ guitar, which encompasses rock, blues, jazz, folk, country and everything in between. He emphasizes getting the most enjoyment out of learning, while helping students fully understand the instrument. His techniques include: reading music and tablature, basic to advanced chording, finger picking, improvisation in all styles, theory and ear training. Students are also encouraged to bring CDs or sheet music to the lesson. He welcomes students of all ages and levels of proficiency. |
Michel Forestier - Guitar
Email: Telephone: Michel Forestier has been a classical guitar instructor at Alberta College Conservatory of Music since 1973. He is also a faculty member at the King’s University College in Edmonton. His students start as young as 5 years old and range from complete beginners to more senior students. Mr. Forestier encourages his students to play with other guitarists and musicians in duets or larger ensembles. |
