Band Together (Ages 12 and up)
Band together and make musical friends by participating in the Alberta College summer band workshop. The workshop provides junior high to high school students with a unique opportunity to enjoy music with Edmonton's leading wind and percussion prefessionals. Sessions will focus on ensemble playing and band rehearsal and performance.
A final concert will be held on Friday. August 24 at 3 pm. Family and friends are welcome.

Summer Music Retreat
The Summer Music Retreat will provide intermediate to advanced level musicians, ages 8-25, with a unique opportunity to immerse in 10 days of learning, inspiration, camaraderie, and music growth. Under the direction of a team of Alberta's best performer/teachers, students will develop a creative approach to learning and performance and acquire skills at all levels of musicianship.

A workshop designed for new composers with an emphasis on developing the necessary foundation for contemporary musical composition. Students will begin with simple explorations in style and language based upon 20th-century practice. The sessions will then shift towards the creation of an original work(s) for solo instrument or small ensemble.

Sing! Sing! Sing! Musical Theatre Workshops
If you love to sing, join us for this fun filled week. The workshop takes place at MacEwan South Campus (7319 29 Ave), provides students who love music the exciting opportunity to explore options in singing both Classical and Musical Theatre songs. Students learn valuable skills in vocal technique, performance techniques and ensemble work while working on a musical production.
Morning: vocal warm-ups, learning of the songs, drama work
Afternoon: craft and prop making, outdoor activities
A final concert will be held on Friday at 2:00 pm. Family and friends are welcome.
