The MacEwan Card is the official student identification/library card. Get your ID card at your campus library. Find out more.

UPass

The MacEwan Card is also used as U-Pass identification. U-Pass stickers are attached to the cards and are available at the City Centre Campus SAM Centre (6-108). Students at the Centre for the Arts and Communications and South Campus can pick up their U-Pass stickers at SA offices on those campuses. Call the SAM Centre (780-497-4444) to find out when the stickers are available.

Books

You're responsible for finding out which books you will need and for purchasing them. MacEwan Bookstores maintains a list of university classes and the required books. You can get them in person at campus bookstores, or order books online.

Used texts are available through the Students' Association textbook registry.

Need books but your student loan money hasn’t come in?

If have had your student loan signed but have not yet received your money, a Student Advisor can give you a letter that, along with a post-dated cheque, allows you to purchase up to $600 worth of books.

Advisors are available at the Student Resource Centre on a drop-in basis Monday to Friday at City Centre (7-112) and South Campus (Room 121). An advisor is available at Centre for the Arts and Communications Info Centre (337) on Wednesdays, September through April.
