Mandate
- To recommend to Academic Governance Council candidates for the standing committees and other MacEwan committees as required of AGC, except for the Nominations Committee. The Committee will consult widely and ensure that the MacEwan community is made aware of all vacancies to be filled.
- To recommend AGC representatives to other committees on which the AGC is represented.
Accountability
- The Nominations Committee is accountable to the Academic Governance Council.
- The Committee Chair will report on the Committee’s activities to the Academic Governance Council and submit recommendations as required for the Academic Governance Council’s consideration.

3. Composition
3.1 All members of the Nominations Committee shall be members of the Academic Governance Council.
3.2 The Nominations Committee shall consist of the following:
a) Vice-Chair of AGC
b) one student
c) three faculty members
d) one dean
3.3 The Committee shall select its Chair from the Committee’s membership.
4. Term of Office
4.1 Members shall serve two year terms, except for the student member who shall serve a one year term (corresponding with his/her term on AGC).
