SPSK 0031 – Clear Speaking I
Note: This course is at the CLB 3-4 level.
Clear Speaking I offers instruction in oral communication skills for social and workplace situations. Strategies for improving pronunciation and intelligibility will be covered on a systematic basis. This course is intended for students with a high-beginner level of English proficiency.
SPSK 0032 – Clear Speaking II
Note: This course is at the CLB 5-6 level.
Clear Speaking II offers instruction in oral communication skills for social, workplace, and academic situations. Strategies for improving pronunciation and intelligibility will be covered on a systematic basis. This course is intended for students with an intermediate level of English proficiency.
SPSK 0033 – Clear Speaking III
Note: This course is at the CLB 7+ level.
Clear Speaking III offers instruction in oral communication skills for social, professional, and academic situations. Strategies for improving pronunciation, intelligibility, and general expression are covered on a systematic basis. Vocabulary development and idiomatic usage are also covered. This course is intended for students with an advanced level of English proficiency.

This course is designed for high-beginner level English as a Second Language learners who wish to improve their academic, social or work related writing skills.
WRIT 0032 – Writing Skills II
Note: This course is at the CLB 5-6 level.
This course is intended for intermediate level English as a Second Language learners, many of whom may be studying at post-secondary institutions or working in an office setting, who wish to improve their academic, social or work related writing skills.
WRIT 0033 – Writing Skills III
Note: This course is at the CLB 7+ level.
This course in intended for advanced level English as a Second Language learners. It includes instruction in social or work-related writing tasks at a pre-academic or semi-professional level. Complex grammatical structures and vocabulary expansion will be introduced as they relate to these tasks.
