ESLG 0060 – CAEL Assessment Workshop
This workshop prepares candidates to take the CAEL Assessment by providing an overview of and practice with the structure and content of the assessment. Candidates will learn test taking strategies and gain experience with the test format through practice on sections of sample tests.
ESLG 070 – Preparation for the CAEL Assessment
CAEL Preparation provides ESL learners with the opportunity to become familiar with the CAEL Assessment format, to improve specific examination skills and strategies, and to improve abilities in English listening comprehension, reading comprehension, essay writing and speaking.

International English Language Testing System (IELTS)

ESLG 057 – IELTS Preparation I
This course prepares students in the four skill areas of reading, writing, listening and speaking to achieve a score of at least 6 on the IELTS (International English Language Testing system) exam in language proficiency. After completing this course successfully, students should be ready to take the IELTS exam and/or continue on to IELTS Preparation II in order to achieve a higher level of proficiency.
ESLG 058 – IELTS Preparation II
This course is designed for students who are working toward a score of 6.5 or higher on the IELTS (International Language Testing System) exam. Students continue to practice the four skill areas of reading, writing, listening, and speaking in order to advance to a higher level of proficiency in English.
