MacEwan administers the IELTS Test at two different locations. Please double-check the location of your exam on your confirmation notice or contact the IELTS Test Centre to have your confirmation notice re-sent to you.

Accommodation
MacEwan Residence is offering special MacEwan IELTS Test Centre accommodation rates from May 1- August 15, 2012.
Nightly Rates (plus applicable taxes)
- Bachelor Suite $60
- Two Bedroom Suite $72
- Four Bedroom Suite
- Hotel room $72/queen or $78.40/queen double

Identification
You must bring your current passport or Permanent Resident Card (PRC) (the same as listed on your application form). If you do not bring your current passport or PRC you are not eligible to write the test.
Test Room Materials
- You are allowed to bring two (2) non-mechanical pencils, erasers, a clear water bottle, and your identification document (see above) into the test room. Pencil sharpeners are not allowed. They will be available in the test room.
- You are NOT allowed to bring coats, jackets, hats, purses, bags, wallets, money, phones, watches, recording devices, food, or other items into the test room.
Note:
Please do NOT wear colognes, perfumes, aftershaves, or other scented products on test day as a number of people (including our staff) are allergic or sensitive to scented products. If you are wearing any of these scented products on test day, you might not be allowed to write the test.
Storage
A locked storage area is provided on site for the morning test. You may leave personal items in this room during the morning test and pick them up at the end of the morning. Personal items are left at your own risk. IELTS assumes NO responsibility for lost or stolen items. There is NO locked storage area provided for the interview portion.

| 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. | Main test: listening, reading & writing sections. |
| 12:40 - 4:40 p.m. | Speaking interviews with an examiner. Candidates must arrive at the check-in desk 40 minutes prior to their interview time. A computer assigns the interview times. It is NOT possible to change your interview time. |
Absent on Test Day
If you are absent on the day of the test, you will lose the full test fee and must re-apply.
Late Arrival on Test Day
If you are a late arrival on test day and not admitted, you will be considered absent. A late arrival is anytime after 8:30 AM.
