Mathematical Sciences

Mathematics is the study of numbers, shapes, and relationships. Computer Science is the study of algorithms. Statistics is the science of collecting and analyzing data. Put them all together, and you get mathematical sciences.

To major in mathematical sciences means you choose two of the following disciplines:

and successfully complete the required number of courses. You may also choose to minor in any of the other disciplines offered in the Bachelor of Science program.

Once you have your degree, careers in fields such as financial advising, insurance, education, research … the list goes on … are just waiting to be discovered.
