Established in 2017, CALIBER, the Centre for Applied Learning and Innovative Business Education and Resources, is operated by the MacEwan University School of Business. The Centre is dedicated to innovation in the business curriculum and connecting students and faculty with the local Edmonton business community.
Vision : To inspire, innovate, connect and transform business education.
Mission : To enhance our students' education with experiential learning and to have a positive impact on the business community in Edmonton. This is achieved through the following activities:
Innovating the business curriculum
CALIBER helps link the business curriculum with applied learning opportunities that connect students, faculty, and Edmonton’s business community with each other.
CALIBER organizes events that promote innovation in teaching and learning while connecting alumni, industry, community, and professional bodies.
CALIBER works for the business community by offering consulting services and executive education seminars.
