Specializing in emerging Asian business, IAPS is positioned to be a leading research centre in Western Canada.
IAPS objectives are to:
1. Provide workshops and research opportunities for MacEwan faculty and students;
2. Promote scholarly exchanges;
3. Host Visiting Academics who are focused on Asia Pacific studies;
4. Consult local businesses interested in doing business in Asia; and
5. Focus on the globalization of Asia Pacific multi-national corporations and their effect on the business environment of firms in developed countries, particularly in Canada.
