After successfully completing the first year of the Bachelor of Music degree, you will choose one of three major routes of study: General, Performance, or Composition.
The BMus Composition major route is an in-depth study of:
- Music composition
- Film scoring
- Songwriting
- Arranging and orchestration
You will create:
- Artistic and commercial works
- Arrangements in jazz and popular music
- Arrangements in other contemporary styles
This route also includes:
- Applied instrument studies
- Ensemble courses
- Performance ensemble participation
