This minor has a collection of specialized courses unique in Canada that has been developed for the contemporary musician. There are many factors beyond musical talent and commitment that can make or break a musician's career. You will gain effective career management knowledge in:
- Entrepreneurship
- Music business
- Musician’s workplace
- Marketing
- Health issues
- Careers
This minor is available to students in the B.Mus. General major. You may choose to:
- Become a music career management specialist
- Create an individual program of study that combines courses from this area with courses from the Music Technology and Production area
