After successfully completing the first year of the Bachelor of Music degree, you will choose one of three major routes of study: General, Performance, or Composition.
As an artist in the B.Mus. Performance major, you will enjoy a great deal of personal choice through the processes of repertoire development and stylistic focus.
The MacEwan University Performance major areas are:
- Voice
- Piano/digital keyboard
- Bass (acoustic and electric)
- Drum Set/Percussion
- Guitar
- Winds/Brass
The Performance major includes in each of the four years of study:
- Applied individual study in the major instrument
- Ensemble courses
- Performance ensemble participation
