Major Musical Theatre Productions

You will be challenged, inspired and amazed as you apply knowledge from your first-year studies to main-stage public performances in your second year. On the stage of the John L. Haar Theatre you will perform in full-scale musical productions that run the gamut from classic to contemporary musical theatre. Audiences enjoy exceptional productions with a distinctive MacEwan University flare.

Theatre Lab

In this intimate black-box theatre you will further develop your acting skills in public performances of works ranging from Greek tragedy to new Canadian works. Our students have performed:

  • A Doctor In Spite of Himself by Moliere
  • Midsummer Night’s Dream by William Shakespeare
  • The Adventures of Joseph Andrews by Kenneth Brown Orlando
