Bring your energy and talent to MacEwan University's Centre for the Arts and Communications campus in west Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Learn in a creative, supportive environment. In our Theatre Arts program you will study:
- acting, singing and dance technique
- voice and speech for the stage
- music theory and ear training
- musical theatre repertoire
- theatre history and play analysis
- audition technique
- performance
Practice
At MacEwan University, you learn by doing. Theatre Arts is a full-time musical theatre actor-training program taught in a conservatory atmosphere. You will:
- devote equal time to the three disciplines of acting, singing, and dancing
- perform in musical theatre productions
- perform in plays
