Exploring artistic creativity will be an opportunity to explore and express creativity in a supportive environment. We will explore what artistic creativity is through different exercises. The focus will be on openness and engagement. Supplies for the exercises will be available from the instructor for $20.

Exploring Drawing
SISS 0002 (OP02)
The instructor’s focus is on new ways of seeing; that is, seeing objects as if for the first time and then drawing them. No experience in drawing is necessary, but a desire to relax, enjoy and learn to see differently is a must. The steps of drawing fundamentals will be explored. A drawing kit of supplies and materials will be available for purchase from the instructor for $20.

Spring Flowers with Coloured Pencil
SISS 0002 (OP03)
MLearn basic layering techniques, while doing a single flower study. We will then apply this knowledge to work more responsively to a fresh flower arrangement. This workshop is recommended for those with some drawing or painting experience. A materials list will be available before the start of the class.
