The Elders in Residence program invites Elders and special guests to the AEC to share their knowledge of culture, traditional practices and spirituality. Other Aboriginal community leaders are also invited to discuss issues that impact Aboriginal peoples. These educational sessions occur throughout the academic year.

Jerry Wood is a Cree First Nations Elder born and raised in Saddle Lake, Alberta, a First Nations Community 150 km northeast of Edmonton. As an Aboriginal Elder, educator and cultural facilitator, Jerry provides cultural teachings and counselling to the MacEwan campus community. Students are welcome to meet with Jerry during the posted times and may arrange to attend off-campus ceremonies throughout the school year.

South Campus Hours:
Wednesdays 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
