The Student Resource Centre (SRC) Educational/Admissions Advisors will help you to make a responsible and informed decision about your educational plans and professional/life goals that are consistent with your values, interests and abilities. They will help you:
- connect your career goal to an educational program
- make a decision
- explore options.
Current Students
Career Services, located in the Student Resource Centre, can help you develop your career plan, explore career options, polish your cover letter and resume, and gain expertise in the job search process.
Career counsellors in the Student Resource Centre can help if you do not have a career goal. They offer individual career assessments that help you clarify your career path, explore interests, identify career goals and discover how to make the most of your program choice.
Program advisors (in career-track programs) or discipline advisors (available in the Arts and Science programs) can speak with you about opportunities in your chosen field.
MacEwan's Graduate School Liaison can assist you if you are contemplating graduate school or a professional program (Law, Medicine, MBA, Dentistry, etc.). Your instructors and discipline advisors are also excellent resources.
Alumni
If you graduated from a MacEwan University program within the last two years, Career Services can help you with your job search and assist you in perfecting your cover letter, resume and interview skills.
