MacEwan campus tours are run by Student Ambassadors who have been trained as tour guides and are able to provide a broad overview of the university.
Our tours operate year-round and are available to anyone who is interested in exploring MacEwan's campuses, facilities, services, student hot-spots and programs.
Tours are approximately one-hour in duration but can be modified to accommodate special requests. Please note: We require at least two weeks' notice to book a campus tour.
*Please note that tours are not available September, December, January or April 9 - May 11, 2012. Tours are available Monday through Friday between the hours of 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.
Regular Tours (Approx. 45 min.)
- Explore a campus (City Centre, South, Centre for the Arts) and visit common areas such as: cafeteria, fitness facilities, library, student services, student lounge areas, etc.
- Based on availability: classrooms, conference theatre, studios, labs, etc. Note: Nursing simulation labs are not available on tours. They are open to the public at our Fall (November) and Winter (March) Open Houses.
Optional Presentation (Approx. 15-20 min.)
- General introduction to MacEwan and its programs with emphasis on how to best use the program guide and other helpful resources
Optional Residence Tour (Approx. 20 min. Only available for City Centre Campus tours)
- Visit the front desk, student lounges, laundry room, store, etc.
- Based on availability: bachelor suite, 2 bedroom suite, 4 bedroom suite and barrier-free suite
- Learn about student activities, pricing, etc.
