To access disability-related accommodations and services, you are advised to identify yourself to Services to Students with Disabilities (SSD).
Make an appointment with SSD
- Contact the Student Resource Centre (SRC) receptionist

- Ask for an appointment with an SSD professional resource staff member: Counsellor, Learning Disabilities specialist or Deaf Services coordinator
- Appointments can be scheduled in person (preferred) or by telephone
Provide documentation of disability to SSD
Documentation of disability must meet the following requirements:
- Is completed by a licensed professional with expertise in the disability
- Describes the nature of the disability including the functional impact
- Describes current functioning

SSD can advise you how to obtain the required documentation.
Identify Early
SSD recommends that you contact us at least four months prior to registering in classes to make sure there is enough time to put appropriate supports in place.
