Safewalk
Walking at night by yourself can be scary business. We don't want you to walk alone. The Students’ Association Safe Walk team can walk you safely to your car, the LRT, or bus stop. Our trained volunteers will even take the LRT with you and see you safely to your destination, so long as it’s within one block of the LRT station.
Call our dispatch number at 780-862-2357 (messages can be left at anytime) or drop by the Safe Walk kiosk located at the Security Office at CCC, room 8-205.
If you forget the dispatch number, don’t stress. You have options, so it's best to memorize them now.
- You can visit our kiosk located in Building 7 at CCC.
- You can also use any HOUSE PHONE in the university. There is a direct dial button to the Safe Walk dispatch centre. The house phones are free of charge for on-campus calls.
- After 4:30 p.m., you can call the Safe Walk dispatch number at 780-862-2357.
- Go to any security desk or information centre at MacEwan and ask them to call us.
