Test Fees
Please note that the test fee is $265 CDN (tax included). All applications that are received must include the fee of $265. Applications that do not include the correct amount will not be processed. If you want us to send a copy of your results to a company, government agency or university and you do not include this information on your application form, there is a postage charge of $3 for each copy. Payment can be made by credit card using the credit card authorization form, money order, bank draft, or certified cheque payable to Grant MacEwan University. In person, we accept cash and debit card. We must receive your payment WHEN you submit the application in order to process it. The IELTS Test Centre will process your payment and application and send you an e-mail confirmation of your test date. Please note that uncertified personal cheques are not accepted.

Office Hours: The IELTS office is open from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. from Monday to Friday. The IELTS office will be closed everyday for lunch from 12:00 to 1:00.
The office will take your application and direct you to student services to process your payment. Upon returning with your receipt, your application will be forwarded to the IELTS Test Centre. The Test Centre will process your application and send confirmation of your test date.
Please note: in-person payment is only available at the Alberta College Campus. Please do not try to pay in person at any of the other MacEwan campuses.
Important: The office may be closed without notice due to a staff meeting or other program needs. Those wishing to drop off their application in person may first wish to call the IELTS Office at 780-633-3770 to confirm that the office will be open.
