Early Learning and Child Care professionals work with the youngest and most vulnerable members of our society. To play a role in helping develop young minds is an awesome responsibility, to be sure. It’s also a wonderful opportunity. From early literacy skills to socialization and learning through play, the ECD professional is actively involved in preparing pre-school children for the wonderful learning journey to come.
With courses covering child development, curriculum, communications, working with families, and specialized programming, the Early Learning and Child Care diploma educates students to become positive, motivated advocates for all children. By learning to establish partnerships with families, responding to each child as a unique human being with unique interests and developmental needs and building the confidence and knowledge to offer a broad theoretical perspective, graduates find success in any environment they encounter. 2009-2010 Timetables can be found on our links page under student links. 2009-2010 Part Time Registration Guide
