When these interactions become difficult due to loss of hearing, quality of life suffers.Hearing loss is often associated with the aging process, and with the rapidly aging population in Canada and the United States, well-trained hearing aid practitioners are in high demand across the country.
Hearing aid practitioners test hearing ability, select appropriate hearing aids for clients to purchase, and provide counseling and support to clients for their hearing and communication needs.
MacEwan’s Hearing Aid Practitioner diploma program was the first two-year program in North America, and is recognized by local, national and international hearing health organizations as a leader in the education and training of hearing aid practitioners.
