Making a RequestMost requests for access to general University records or an individuals own personal recorded information, or correction of incorrect personal information can be handled informally through direct communications with the University office responsible for the information. Transcripts should be requested from the Office of the Registrar. Only in the event that access is not available through routine channels should you make a request formally under Alberta FOIP legislation. To do this please utilize the appropriate form provided on this site. Additional forms that may be required by individuals other than MacEwan employees may be found under Forms and Guides. All formal requests must be sent to the MacEwan Information and Privacy Office (IPO). The normal 30 day time line for responding will begin until your request along with any and all applicable are received in the MacEwan IPO. Do not send cash through the postal system.
