Every week the Students' Association of Grant MacEwan College produces your student newspaper, Intercamp.

You can find Intercamp (the paper derives its name from the colleges four campuses) every Thursday in distribution boxes throughout all the campuses. Each year Intercamp hires five assistant editors (news, entertainment, sports, features and graphics) who are paid per issue.

The mandate for Intercamp is to cover the important events that happen in and around the college, provide coverage of the school's athletic teams and entertain the student populous.


Want to Get Involved?
Intercamp is always looking for people to submit articles, letters to the editor, photographs, cartoons or visually stunning pieces of art. All submissions must be e-mailed to intercamp@macewan.ca. Cartoons must be inked, legible and fall within the realm of reasonable taste for the general student body. Submissions for Intercamp must be received on Thursdays, one week before publishing, to be considered.

As well, if you know of an interesting student or staff member worthy of profiling, please let us know. Anyone interested in contributing to or working for Intercamp can contact Justin Bell, Intercamp Managing Editor.

Classified Ads

Classified Ads are 25 cents per word, $5 minimum charge, GST included. Grant MacEwan students get one free ad per issue, after that regular charges apply. Please send submissions to intercamp@macewan.ca or call Justin Bell @ 497-5412.

Payments can be made at the SAM Centre (Rm 6-108) by cash or credit card.
