Scholarship in institutions of higher education is evolving, with researchers demonstrating an increased interest in partnering with larger external communities. In this session, you will hear from a panel of community members representing business, civic, and cultural perspectives as well as from past community engagement scholarship researchers. Gain insight as they share their experiences and speak to the possibilities and opportunities for mutually beneficial outcomes.

Panelists: Puneeta McBryan, Executive Director, Downtown Business Association, Edmonton; Scott McKeen, Past City Councillor, City of Edmonton; Sarah Pocklington, Executive Director, Citadel Theatre; and Dr. Rita Dhungel, Assistant Professor, University of the Fraser Valley, and former faculty at MacEwan University
