BACHELOR of COMMUNICATION STUDIES

OPPORTUNITIES

There’s more to your degree than assignments and exams. Student conferences, research, additional publication opportunities and unique initiatives across campus—put your best foot forward and reap the academic and personal benefits of outside-the-classroom activities and events.

Research

Research is the key to a writer's craft—and their credibility. In our program, you learn research techniques and strategies and apply them to your projects and assignments.

Get involved, get credit

The student experience record (SER) is an official document that lists the extracurricular activities you participate in as a MacEwan student, such as non-credit clubs, campaigns and committees. Bring the SER to a job interview or attach it to an application. It boosts your resumé and lets potential employers know a bit more about you. Learn more about this university-recognized, accredited document in the SER portal of MacEwanLife.
