Information for Employees


The majority (85 per cent) of Winter term classes are hybrid, as they were in the Fall term, meaning they are still a combination of online and in-person learning. Because of the current COVID situation, we are delaying much of the in-person delivery during January and February. This means that the university will continue to deliver the majority of our courses online until February 22, 2022.

Employees’ current work arrangements can remain unchanged until the situation is re-evaluated in February. Employees who would like to return to work on campus sooner should discuss the option with their manager or dean.

We are required to analyze our personal risk of exposure to COVID-19 and other infectious diseases such as influenza in our working, learning and individual activities. Using the infection prevention measures that we have practiced over the past year and a half will keep us healthy and safe, in conjunction with the province's vaccination program, which has proven to reduce new cases and effectively diminish the severity of illness.
