Interdisciplinary Dialogue Project

Join faculty, students and staff from different disciplines along with members of the public to explore a social justice issue. Refugee migration, truth and reconciliation, Covid-19 recovery—the topics change, but the approach remains the same: interdisciplinary, collaborative and meaningful.

2024 Interdisciplinary Dialogue: Cities of Tomorrow

What dreams do we hold for our future cities? As individuals and communities, what aspirations do we carry for urban space and place? Throughout the Winter 2024 term, students, faculty, staff and the broader community are invited to explore the theme of Cities of Tomorrow through stories of hope, belonging and rebirth.

These stories will arise through collaborations with kihêw waciston Indigenous Centre, the Office of Human Rights, Equity and Inclusion, and the Ukrainian Resources and Development Centre alongside MacEwan Library, the Centre for Teaching and Learning and SAMU.

As we connect from across campus and beyond, let’s envision together not merely a city of tomorrow, but our Cities of Tomorrow!

The 2024 events have concluded.
