The Faculty of Arts and Science is currently recruiting for an Administrative Support III to the office of the Introductory Psychology Coordinator (IPC) for a full time continuing position commencing approximately May 1, 2018. The IPC Administrative Assistant is often the first contact in the office for students, faculty and staff seeking information about the office. It is therefore imperative that the incumbent be knowledgeable about the appropriate policies, procedures and practices of the office, Faculty and University. He/she needs to ensure that the administrative needs of the office are met, have a thorough understanding of the yearly cycle of the IPC office and be able to plan and complete tasks accordingly so that deadlines are met. The incumbent may also be asked to provide backup for other Administrative Assistants in Arts and Science. Reporting to the Dean’s Office, Faculty of Arts and Science, the IPC Administrative Assistant works closely with and is under the functional supervision of the Introductory Psychology Coordinator.
