The Facilities Division at MacEwan University is the largest service department. Facilities designs, maintains and operates our campuses and grounds, ensuring that they are secure, clean, functional, sustainable, and inspiring.
We are currently establishing a pool of candidates to assist in providing a clean and safe environment for staff and students on a casual basis. In this position, the incumbent will clean and maintain floors; clean washrooms; wash windows; dust and sanitize furniture/equipment as required.
The successful candidates must have a minimum of six months related experience and be able to operate basic custodial equipment, floor scrubbers, carpet cleaners, and vacuums. In addition, the successful candidate must be able to work safely with chemicals. WHMIS training is preferred, although training could be provided to the successful candidate.
The ideal candidate must be able to understand and communicate in English and must be physically fit.
