Opportunity

The Office of the University Registrar has an opportunity for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Information and Registration Assistant to work at the City Center Campus. This is a part-time continuing position (17.50 hours per week).

The successful candidate will provide front-line registration and general information to the university community and general public.  The successful candidate’s responsibilities fall in the areas of: providing general program information, and explaining application procedures. Duties will include processing registration transactions; processing payment transactions; responding to and processing admission documents; assessing fees; answering phone inquiries and maintaining/editing student records using the student information system.

Skills

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, interpersonal and customer service skills; and the ability to process large volumes of work under tight timelines. The individual must have a strong work ethic, be highly motivated and able to work collaboratively in a team environment. 

Qualifications

A minimum of a post-secondary diploma and one (1) year customer service and cash handling experience. Experience in Microsoft Office, accurate keyboarding skills, and post-secondary experience are preferred.
