Reporting to the Director of Education and International Development, the Senior Program Manager is responsible for the leadership, development, management and implementation within the School of Continuing Education (SCE) International area. The Senior Program Manager will provide direction and coaching to instructors and staff in the Executive Professional Development and Study Tour program areas relating to program planning, budgeting, program and course development, marketing and communications, contracts, admissions requirements and student assessments.
This is a one-year maternity leave replacement position. Some evening and weekend work as well as travel may be required.
The successful candidate will have an entrepreneurial outlook, strong leadership skills, excellent problem solving and decision-making abilities, as well as superb intercultural communication skills. Knowledge of program and course budgeting and budget projections within a cost recovery environment is essential. The successful candidate will have experience working with international stakeholders, strong computer skills, and working knowledge of registration systems.
An undergraduate degree in adult education or business is required. Additional coursework or certification in program management, budgeting, distance education, and/or marketing would be considered an asset. A minimum of five years of progressively responsible experience in international program development, budgeting, management, and supervision is required. Those with experience working in a post-secondary environment will be given first consideration.
