The Department of Physical Sciences at MacEwan University invites applications for a full-time continuing laboratory technician position. The successful candidate will provide support for junior- and senior-level undergraduate Chemistry teaching laboratories, by planning and conducting laboratory preparation, ordering supplies and services, managing materials and inventory, and maintaining equipment.
Candidates will have strong technical laboratory skills, excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively with faculty, staff, and students. Candidates are expected to have expertise congruent with supporting a range of laboratory courses spanning organic, inorganic, physical, and analytical chemistry.
Preferred candidates will hold a B.Sc. in Chemistry (or closely-related field), or hold a Chemical Technology Diploma with extensive experience.

|Salary||$59,514 to $87,942 per annum|
