Reporting to the Director of Professional and Continuing Studies (P&CS), the Program Assistant is responsible for contributing to the success of the Professional and Continuing Studies unit. The Program Assistant is often the initial contact with prospective and returning students, and therefore, must be knowledgeable about University and program policies. The Program Assistant responds to inquiries from students including admission requirements, course offerings, pre-requisites, registration procedures, fees and fee payments and academic and student service and is responsible for specific tasks within these areas. The Program Assistant provides administrative support to staff and instructors. The P&CS unit offers programming in Business and Management; Art, Design and Digital Media; Workplace Health and Wellness and Corporate Training.

-Strong computer skills, in a Windows based environment including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and PeopleSoft
Minimum of a Diploma in Office Administration, Business Administration or related field. 2 years of related experience supporting program delivery at a post-secondary institution.
