The Office of the University Registrar, located at City Centre Campus, is recruiting for a full-time continuing Admissions & Enrolment Specialist. This position is a part of a student-oriented admissions team committed to service excellence. The incumbent will be responsible for determining admission to university programs, evaluating transcripts, maintaining accurate student records, and providing information to applicants and other members of the university community on admission policies and procedures.
The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to service excellence and possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills; organizational, time management and critical thinking skills; above average attention to detail; the ability to manage a high volume of work in a face-paced environment; computer literacy including the ability to perform intermediate-level tasks in using a student information system and Microsoft Office Suite; and the ability to understand, interpret and apply diverse Canadian and international education systems against established admission requirements.
This position requires a diploma and a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in an administrative environment in program evaluation. Experience with evaluating Canadian or international education in a post-secondary institution in an admission or registrar setting, and knowledge of PeopleSoft - Campus Solutions are considered assets.
